The quality of our products matter to us! Chocolates are temperature sensitive and require special handling to ensure a quality product. During the cool temperature months we ship USPS priority mail. The post office can take 2-4 days to arrive and since the Pandemic has been having some delivery issues.
In warmer months (from May to late Sept) We thermal wrap and add gel ice to most chocolate shipments and ship via Fedex for handling and tracking. We have arranged to have better pricing with Fedex than you could get on your own. Join our mailing list to get occasional special or free offers on shipping.
We understand that shipping is somewhat expensive but we pass on the best rates and do not profit from shipping. Unlike Amazon we do not build in the shipping into our price and call it free shipping.We charge what we are charged. To make shipping more cost effective, consider making a larger order.
Please note, our hours have changed since March and we are on a shorter work schedule.
Chocolates are currently shipped on Wednesdays and Thursdays to arrive no later than Saturday.( unless overnight shipping is selected) to ensure they do not sit in a warehouse somewhere. For additional information please call us at 505-471-0891
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
When you checkout, there is a dropdown menu of shipping choices. It defaults to Priority Mail Flat rate Med box, the most popular method and size needed to include some ice. Please review the choices. 6 or 8 pc boxes or a bag of Elixir mix can be shipped in a Padded envelope. If you live in Santa Fe you can choose will call to pick up your shipment. If its summer, FedEx 2nd day is the ONLY method to guarantee it arrives in good condition.
